Dance Show ensemble "ESTA" was founded at the end of the February of 1998. It consisted of first year dancers from sport dancing club"ESTA-MEPhI". Their first appearance ("Kadril" and "Mambo") was at the party, devoted to the Victory Day, which happened on the 6th of May of 1998 in Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI)for the veterans of the war.

At first "Esta" was thought about as amateur ensemble for taking part in holidays and concerts of MEPhI and also in different events of the South region and Moscow. Accept this much attention was paid on taking part in traditional parties of sport dancing club "ESTA-MEPhI".

The repertoire contains in general Russian folk and historic dances, world people dances, latin and standard dances, dances in the style of Disco and Hip Hop and so on.
Tradicionally we take part in the FESTOS (The Festival of Student Creative) and in other festivals and concerts
